Week 11 completed

20 March 2011

Another week completed . Interesting the linseed oil paint takes 2 days to dry  but with a few more practice windows I should get used to it,and has the advantage of lasting 3 times longer than regular paint.

Back on repairs to joinery work in listed building at 38 St giles. The main one is the newl post and bannister rail that were hacked apart in the 60’s and boxed in.

Week Ten completed

13 March 2011

sucessfull last week. More work on the interior of listed building this week coming with one day set asside for starting on the repair and painting of the windows in my own house. Going to use Holkham traditional linseed oil base paint.Whic apparently last longer than the new paints. Will be interesting to see.
