Busy couple of weeks. Some timber sales, making and fitting some kitchen shelves, Making an additional top cupboard for a kitchen i had installed nearly 10 years ago, kitchen looking and working as good as the day i fitted it, always good to see projects after all these years.
A couple of days spent hanging a resin and timber door designed and made by John Barnard. A beautiful piece of design and work , I feel very privaledged to be involved in the project, which is to be the entrance door to a new artists studio near stalham.
Involve , again with John Barnard to restore a vennered panel in the council chambers of city hall, which has been there since 1938. Beautiful work.
All ways good to have a variety of work
Didnt get around to making the steam oven. Orders placed for two pieces of furniture one from american black walnut and one from my norfolk oak and sycamore.Helping fit a beautiful oak and resin door for an artists studio made by John Barnard. land lord mended roof third time this year. Looks like a good week ahead.
End of summer. Kids back to school. All the prevous work completed even the camper van. Start of the new working year. Busy week ahead, several projects to quote for and a couple of days in the workshop doing various antique and furniture repairs, on site for a day to re-putty and minor repairs to some windows . Hopefully a day in the workshop experimenting with building a new steam oven.Need to remove the putty and thus the glass from some sash windows rescued from the old James 1st pub on Drayton rd.
