Bespoke Woodwork

June 2012

10 June 2012

Last 6 weeks very busy . Seams to of been filled with sash window repairs. Yarmouth, Walsingham, Norwich Golden Triangle ets. Really interesting work both in all these beautiful houses and at the workshop. Having looked on you tube found a brilliant way of removing the  old glass by making up a steamer to soften the  putty works a treat. Other work, fitting oak kitchen  worktops, making up and fitting chestnut bardge boards.

Although this recession is a long one at least one positive point is to allow a great amount of interesting restoration work takes me back to the beginning when I started as a antique furniture restorer.

Having had to visit London last week called into the Camden box sash company. great to view a great traditional workshop

Full books for the next 4 weeks.
